Wilder's on Main

Thought I would take a few moments tonight after the dinner rush and load up my menu's on here from work. Trying to get the word out bout this place, and I will try my best to slow down and really start adding some stuff, photo's of plates, daily specials and whatnot. Rolling out a new lunch menu Saturday, but figured it doesn't hurt to show what we have been up to!
Breakfast menu- getting ready to update as well
 Current lunch menu
Current dinner menu- updating in two weeks
A few specials I have ran
 My small plate menu-updated frequently

Wilder's on Main Bistro and Bakery, Hutchinson KS- we are really worth the drive to check us out! Everything is made in house from scratch people! Looking to start utilizing our local farmer market within the next few weeks as well. And again, we make everything here from scratch, if you want good, clean, tasteful foods, breads, sweets, look no further then Wilder's on Main!
I will upload the new lunch menu Saturday as well as load my Mother's Day menu on Saturday.
Anyone getting hungry?

A Long Time Ago in A City Far Away...

Howdy! So I started this here bloggy thing back at the beginning of the new year and then I stopped. Just been real busy with moving to a new house and new city, designing a new menu for a new restaurant...come to think of it, how does anyone find the actual time to blog about anything and still find the time to sleep and spend time with family? Things to think about I guess.
Anyways, so we are now living in Hutchinson KS and whenever people ask us what brought us to Hutch and where we are from they just look at us like we are crazy because we tell them we left Kansas City for Hutch. And given the fact that we have not really experienced Hutch to its fullest yet, maybe they are right but so far we are happy.
So the new restaurant is really quite beautiful, probably the best looking one I have ever worked in, and the food is serving the best food in Hutch, hands down, no that is not my ego talking, its the fact that I make everything from scratch at the restaurant and all the others in town are microwave jockeys! No seriously, there is not another place in town capable of competing with me, which truly bites because I have not found any decent help in the kitchen for cooking, but we are managing and we can see the light at the tunnel.
So why all of a sudden, like today, am I back on the blog wagon? Because I had a freak accident at work and almost lost a finger, had surgery yesterday for a nice skin graft and I am just laying around resting like the doc said to. So I figured I should get back on the net since I started this thing and keep it updated as regularly as possible. So I will and have been the one handed chef for the past week and it looks to be that I will continue to be the one handed chef for several more weeks to come. Makes running my line that much more fun doing 100-150 covers!! Now Im thinking of getting a knife tattooed on the finger as a reminder!
On the plus side, Angela is getting a new bike this coming week so she will be able to take the Cadey Bug out for little jaunts around town and I look forward to riding with them and for us to explore the closer towns by bike and hopefully get some group rides in from our restaurant as well. Spread the cycling love! Angela is pretty excited bout the new bike, I am too, even though its not our favored Kona brand, the Trek she is getting is still a nice bike. Me on the other hand got some new Avid brakes on my single speed cross bike and got it all cleaned up, Angela saw my cross bike all cleaned up and was shocked to see that it was two different colors...it was quite funny, the bike has only been in the household for like 3 years!
Looking forward to nice bike rides once work settles down, solo for some nice mileage, and with the family, looking forward to creating new and exciting dishes for Hutch to try and looking forward to seeing and watching and playing with my Cadey Bug!
